Capabilities
What makes the Rompa Group unique? The main reason is the unprecedented range of possibilities we can offer in plastics. This is because we have both thermoforming and injection moulding machines, as well as various decoration techniques under one roof. Another reason is the long term experience, combined with innovative and creative solutions.
Thermoforming
One of the core activities of the Rompa Group is the manufacture of blisters, blister packs and trays for use with non-food and internal transport products.
We have a number of modern semi-automatic and fully-automatic blister form machines at our disposal whereby materials such as PVC, PS, PETA, PLA, PETG, PETGAG, RPETg and flocked material can be processed, with a thickness of between 0,25 and 1,8 mm. Our press form machines have a maximum form surface of 650 x 730 mm.
Injection moulding
Rompa has a large number of injection moulding machines with a clamping force of 25 to 750 tonnes and with a maximum shot weight of around 4000 grams, from a single cavity to a multi-cavity mould (800 cavities). The most common materials used are PP, PE, PS, ABS, PA, PC, POM, PMMA, SAN and ASA.
As a result of the high degree of mechanization, we can continue to manufacture products with controlled process management and with a high level of quality.
Rompa has its own tool maintenance departments. New moulds are contracted out to third parties although this is done under our own management.
It is possible to use freely-programmable robots with our injection moulding machines enabling a fully-automatic production line to be established.
