Developments in the Dutch manufacturing industry

28 March 2017

Tuesday March 11, we were present at the opening of the ESEF, the largest and most important biennial exhibition in the Benelux in the field of supply, subcontracting, product development and engineering . Innovation and working together, that is what it is about at ESEF. New materials, components and applications are presented, flexible solutions and techniques are demonstrated and valuable contacts are made. OEM companies, product developers and buyers come to the ESEF to be inspired by current events, to make (new) contacts and to share knowledge.

Some quotes we heard that day we would like to share:

"It is wonderful to see how precious the manufacturing industry is. The halls are full and all systems are ready to go. The manufacturing industry can benefit from this." With these words the strategic director at FME-CWM, Peter Bongaerts, opened the ESEF and Techni-Show fairs together with Jos Kleiboer, strategic director at the Royal Metal Union. Kleiboer also sees many opportunities for the manufacturing and supply industry. "The positive trend is felt everywhere. Now it important that we transform our economy into hard currencies in this forward going times."

Director Top Sectors and Industrial strategies of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Guido Landlord : "What is particularly striking is the presence of many foreign participants. This indicates that the Dutch manufacturing industry is attractive for foreign companies. Moreover, this means that the innovative power of Dutch companies is also demonstrated abroad. The strength of the Dutch industry is central at the Hannover Messe, where The Netherlands will present themselves firmly as this year’s partner. "

As Rompa Group we can only welcome these developments.
